The bank had its share of crisis in 2008 and 2009 when a trader at the bank lost 4.9 billion Euros through fraud. Also, a Turkish Jewelry firm by the name of Goldas supposedly did not pay for a consignment of 15 Tonnes of gold. But the company has since recovered from those losses and has strengthened its European position.
