Interactive Brokers first opened its doors for brokerage business in 1977. Interactive Brokers Group, Inc., which was founded by Thomas Peterffy, operates from over 120 market destinations worldwide. Interactive Brokers (IB) provides a direct access online trading portal which provides trade execution and clearing support to institutional investors. IB Trader TWS

The desktop terminal of Interactive Brokers is the unique market maker-designed Trader Workstation (TWS). INteractive Brokers has been around since the 70's. They have earned their trustworthy reputation over the years and offer a good many extras for the traders to use in the marketplace.
Interactive Brokers has some higher fees than other brokers but they are transpareant about them.

Interactive Brokers is expensive compared to other brokers, but you get what you pay for.
