MaxCFD Review
- Being able to call leverage at trade
- Huge list of tradeable assets
- Browser platform; no downloads
- A good amount of educational resources
- Offers stop-loss protection
- Not licensed
- Plenty of negative reviews
- Charts are lacking
Just founded earlier in 2017, MaxCFD is owned and operated by the London based Chemmi Holdings Limited.
The broker is focused on CFD trading but also is a binary options broker.
The unique feature with MaxCFD is the fact that you choose your leverage at the time of making your trade. You will not find that feature at many other brokers.
Trading Platforms
Many people think the platform used at MaxCFD is proprietary. Truth be told, they are using the newest technology developed by Spot Option and customized for MaxCFD. It is an easy to use trading platform with the look and feel of classic binary options with a CFD twist.
Also, MaxCFD has downloadable mobile apps where you have all the same features as the primary website.
MaxCFD Trading Markets
MaxCFD allows trading on an enormous amount of assets. If you cannot find an asset worth trading on at MaxCFD, I don’t think you would find an asset at any other broker.
There are plenty in:
- Pairs
- Stocks
- Indices
- Currency
- Commodities
Customer Support
I don’t see where, as of yet, MaxCFD offers live chat.
Is that a “broker breaker?”
They do have a contact form, email and 2 phone numbers on their contact page. And, after reading several reviews, it seems traders are happy with how MaxCFD manages customer service.
Security & Fairness
Here is where MaxCFD loses points. They are not licensed or regulated which will drive many potential traders away.
Also, MaxCFD still offers bonuses which CySEC has disavowed. So, getting licensed and regulated may not be easy.
MaxCFD Summary
I believe if MaxCFD would tighten up how they are running their brokerage, they could be a good broker.
That being said, I would not absolutely recommend them.
I will say that MaxCFD does have an excellent platform. They also have a huge range of deposit methods, good educational material. But they need to mend many other areas. Hopefully, they will learn from the reputable brokers. Being a young broker, they have a ways to go.
