PlusOption Review
- Large list of tradeable assets
- Spot Option Trading Platform
- Traders not allowed from 7 countries
- Not licensed or regulated
- Many complaints
PlusOption was founded in 2014 under different ownership than now. The owners of this binary options broker is a new company by the name of Redfield Markets LTD. Their headquarters are in the U.K., but the broker is managed in Bulgaria.
When visiting the PlusOption website, I was led to believe an amateur created it. But, we will look closer at this broker and you can be the judge if you want to trade binary options on their platform.
PlusOption Trading Platforms
PlusOption contracted with the developers of the ever-popular Spot Option software. That is the trading platform for laptops and desktops.
The broker also has mobile apps that are available at the Google Playstore or the iPhone App Store.
PlusOption Trading Markets
PlusOption does hold a large asset list. The markets you can trade in are:
- Currencies – All the major currency pairs are available including Bitcoin.
- Stocks – A long list of stocks are available to trade in.
- Commodities – You can trade in precious metals or coffee, wheat, etc…
- Indices – And you have the world’s major markets to trade on.
Customer Support
As for customer support, I see that PlusOption does have live chat. They also have a contact page where there are emails and 2 phone numbers. One is in the United Kingdom and the other in South Africa.
Security & Fairness
PlusOption is not licensed or regulated. This makes a strong defense against trading with this broker. Plus, this disclaimer is on their website: “Unfortunately, we don’t accept traders from Belgium, France, Germany, Israel, US, Canada and Australia. Likewise, residents who have double citizenship that includes the listed above countries, are not allowed to trade the binary options”
PlusOption has had a variety of complaints filed against them over their time of existence. Will new ownership turn that reputation around?
PlusOption Summary
Overall, I would not recommend this binary options broker. If you have used PlusOption with good results, feel free to let us know.
