BIST Exchange Charts

BIST- the Borsa İstanbul, is the sole exchange entity of Turkey. The exchange was founded in 2013 and combined all of the existing markets of the former Istanbul Stock Exchange (ISE), the Istanbul Gold Exchange, and the Derivatives Exchange of Turkey. Now all these financial instruments and assets are traded and featured under one large umbrella exchange. As of March 2018, BIST ranks 32nd in terms of market capitalization with a market cap of $174.4 billion. The exchanges shareholders are 49% government of Turkey, 41% IMKB, 5% VOB, 4% IMKB members, 1% IMKB brokers and 0.3% IAB members. The BIST exchange compiles all the market share data into various charts so that traders and investors can perform extensive technical analysis to gain a better understanding of the markets. The data represented in the BIST charts is calculated using real-time order and transaction book information and is clearly represented in comprehensive charts.

BIST 50 Index
This chart is for the Borsa İstanbul Equity Market and is compiled of the 50 best-performing stocks across the BIST Stars, BIST Main, real estate investment trusts and venture capital investment trusts traded on the Collective and Structured Products Markets.

BIST 30 Index
The chart consists of the 30 best stocks selected among the BIST Stars, BIST Main, real estate investment trusts and venture capital investment trusts traded on the Collective and Structured Products Markets.
