Advance Gold Corp., an exploration stage company, engages in the exploration and evaluation of mineral properties. It holds a 100% interest in the Tabasquena silver mine located in Zacatecas, Mexico; a 100% interest in the Venaditas project that covers an area of 2,365 hectares located in Ojocaliente, Mexico; and a 13.5% interest in the Kakamega advanced gold project situated in Kenya. The company was formerly known as Africa West Minerals Corp. and changed its name to Advance Gold Corp. in May 2010. Advance Gold Corp. was incorporated in 2004 and is headquartered in Kamloops, Canada.
