ERAMET S.A. operates as a mining and metallurgical company worldwide. The company operates through three divisions: ERAMET Nickel, ERAMET Alloys, and ERAMET Manganese. Its ERAMET Nickel division owns and processes nickel mines in New Caledonia; and produces ferronickel, high purity nickel, nickel chlorides, nickel carbonates and cobalt chlorides, and ferric chlorides. This division’s products are primarily used in stainless steel, nickel-based alloys, electroplating, casting and alloy steels, and catalysis and batteries. The ERAMET Alloys division produces closed die-forged parts for aeronautics and energy generation; and designs and develops a range of parts and products, including high-performance steels, superalloys, aluminum and titanium, and gas-atomized powder metallurgy. The ERAMET Manganese division produces a wide range of alloys, such as high-carbon ferromanganese, silicomanganese, low and medium-carbon ferromanganese, and low-carbon silicomanganese. This division’s products are used in steel products, batteries, electronic circuits, fertilizers and animal feeds, pigments, fine chemicals, and other metallurgical uses. ERAMET S.A. was founded in 1880 and is headquartered in Paris, France.
