It provides bus shelters, freestanding information panels, automated public toilets, advertising panels, multi-service columns, self-service bicycle schemes, kiosks for flowers or newspapers, public rubbish bins, benches, public information or city light panels, streetlights, static/dynamic street signage, recycling bins for glass/batteries/paper, electronic message boards, and interactive terminals. The Transport segment provides advertising services in public transport systems, such as airports, subways, buses, tramways, and trains. As of January 1, 2018, it held approximately 218 advertising contracts in airports; and 252 advertising contracts in transit systems in Europe, Africa, the Middle East, the Asia-Pacific, and Latin America. The Billboard segment is involved in advertising on private property, including traditional large format or back-light billboards; and the provision of neon-light billboards and advertising wraps. The company was founded in 1964 and is based in Plaisir, France. JCDecaux SA is a subsidiary of JCDecaux Holding (SAS).
