We know the company simply as Michelin. This France based company is the second largest automobile, truck and tractor tire manufacturer in the world, with Bridgestone being the largest.
While tires are the main product of Michelin, the company also makes travel guides and roadmaps.
Michelin owns many tire brands that include:

- Kleber,
- Tigar,
- Riken,
- Kormoran
- and Uniroyal
Michelin also has several inventions relating to tires. They include the removable tire, the pneurail (made for trains) and the radial tire.
Michelin is also heavily involved in various motorsports by supplying tires to sponsored racing teams in exchange for advertisements.
As there will always be a need for tires, Michelin will continue strong numbers.
