The company operates six refineries and a network of service stations located in Poland, the Czech Republic, Germany, and Lithuania. It also provides petrochemical products, such as aromatic hydrocarbons consisting of farbasol, xylene, rafinat, and benzene; and petrochemicals, including acetone, butadiene and phenol for industrial use, ethyl tertbutyl ether, polymerizable ethylene, ethylene and diethylene glycol, triethylene glycol, petrollent, petrygo Q, ethylene polyclycols, polymerizable propylene, and liquefied ethylene oxide, as well as PETROX, a gaseous mixture of ethylene oxide and carbon dioxide. The company’s petrochemical products also include energy and side products, such as liquefied nitrogen, liquefied oxygen, postreaction sulfurized mixtureZ, and liquid sulphur. It sells its products through the operation of approximately 2,726 fuel stations under the ORLEN, BLISKA, Benzina, Benzina Plus, ORLEN, and Ventus brands. In addition, the company is involved in the exploration and extraction of hydrocarbon deposits; assets management and retail fuel sale; extraction of natural gas; production of nitrogen fertilizers, plastics, and chemicals; trading of liquid fuels; manufacturing and storage of gaseous fuels; production and sale of grease oils, bitumens, and maintenance liquids; and generation, distribution, and trading of electricity and heat.
