The Danish Krone (DKK) is the official currency of Denmark, Greenland and the Faroe Islands. The Krone is sometimes referred to as the “crown” as this is the direct translation to the English language. The Krone currency is pegged closely to the Euro by the European Unions exchange rate mechanism (ERMII). With the Danish Kroner close connection to the Euro, it is a stable and strong currency, which makes it more widely accepted among online trading brokerages.
