Most Common Languages Offered
Currently there are over 6000 spoken languages in the world. While this number is simply too large for online brokers to offer them all. There are some common languages offered by most international brokers. These common languages are as follows; Arabic, Danish, Dutch, English, Finnish, French, German, Indonesian, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Malay, Norwegian, Polish, Portuguese, Russian, Simplified Chinese, Spanish, Swedish, Traditional Chinese, and Turkish.

How Do Brokers Communicate?
Generally speaking, when broker offers their services in many different languages, their customer support tends to be excellent. However, sometimes with all the languages that a platform supports, they simply cannot offer customer support for all those languages through every one of their support options. Let’s explore all the available support options for the various languages offered by trading platforms.

Telephone
Most, if not all brokers offer a phone support line. However, usually the phone support is limited to the most common languages, such as where the broker is located, or where most of their clients are located. As well, phone support lines are generally not open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and can get quite congested depending on the popularity of a broker and the amount of customer support staff they employ.

Email
Another very popular method of communication is through email. This method is generally the most offered method of communication for multiple languages as it does not necessarily have to be instant communication.

Live Chat
Many brokers offer live chat, but again, it is limited to the amount of languages offered. Most often live chat is only available to languages with the largest client base, and or languages of where the broker is based out of.

Live Video Chat
There are very few brokers who offer live video chat, and the ones who do generally offer this service in only 1 – 3 languages. The most common being English, as it is the “world language”.

Platform Language
Trading platforms who offer their services in multiple languages will have the option to switch the language of the platform via settings or the home page. Platforms with this option have much better translation than platforms in which you use services like google translate to convert the language on the platform. When using google translate, the language translated is not very fluent and is very broken. It is highly recommended to use a broker offering your language rather than a third-party translation service.
