Swissquote has popular trading platforms to choose from, they are also secure and trustworthy.
I found Swissquote to be unorganized and confusing.

Vaultoro has reasonable fees and a decent trading platform. They also have some good educational material that I like.
Vaultoro lacks a solid reputation in the marketplace. They also lack proper regulation which is a huge red flag.

HiveEx does offer a bit more than the typical brokerage but at a higher cost.
HiveEx is too sophisticated and expensive for new or beginning traders

eOption has low fees and a sophisticated trading platform.
eOption does not have a great reputation among the trading community. They also have a weak range of equities.

Bitmex has a decent reputation and great customer service. Is that enough though?
Bitmex doesn't allow fiat currency conversion and is not regulated. That's enough for me to stay away.

ACX has no trading fees and supports fiat currency.
My dislikes about this broker are numerous. Weak range of assets, limited trading platform, and a lack of regulation.

Merrill Edge is a very popular company with a great reputation for being trustworthy.
Merrill Edge does not allow forex trading and has some high costs for other investments.

Vanguard has great customer service and strong regulation. Their trading experience is somewhat mediocre.
Vanguard has some troubling customer complaints that I don't care for. A big Red Flag for me.

Etrade is highly regulated and boasts great customer service. Their platform is decent as well.
Etrade doesn't allow forex trading and they don't have a way to back-test strategies.

Fidelity has some high commissions and difficult trading circumstances for traders.
